Phonics Advantage Reading Assessment – Phase 2 (PARA II)
Now available in the LMS, you have access to the PARA II assessment which includes 25 new challenges organized into five levels from Emerging to Platinum. PARA II also provides supporting resources including a scoring sheet, scoring rules, and a teacher guide. You can access PARA II. click HERE.
Progress Monitor
Progress Monitor has been updated to allow you to enter PARA II scores and report on the results. Students who have completed all challenges from PARA I will automatically be assigned to PARA II. For more information about these Progress Monitor improvements, click HERE.
We are also pleased to provide a new Progress Monitor feature that allows you to add notes to student records so that you can document context and observations about your students’ learning progress. More information about this new feature can be found HERE.
Becoming a Skilled Reader – Phase 2 Lessons
Now available in the LMS, you have access to additional ‘Becoming a Skilled Reader’ lessons for Phase 2. Over the coming weeks, new lessons will continue to be added. You can access these Phase 2 lessons HERE.
We are happy to report that, based on widespread feedback, we are making lessons available in PDF format to allow for downloading, printing, and sharing! Over the next few weeks, all lessons from Phase 1 and 2 will be made available in this format.
